Are You Ready to Read?

Read Across America Week is March 3-7th

Dr. Seuss' Birthday --> Sunday, March 2nd
World Read Aloud Day-->Wednesday, March 5

Our goal is to read year-round, finding time every day to sit and enjoy the words of another. Reading is a pleasure we want to share with our students and children in every way possible.

It makes reading extra fun and exciting when we build connections. By celebrating fabulous authors like Dr Seuss we make our reading real and it becomes even more important. Dr. Seuss writes wildly entertaining books that we can enjoy no matter what age we are!

World Read Aloud Day is about believing that ALL people everywhere deserve the right to read and write.  By reading aloud, together with other supporters, we send the message that ALL children deserve a safe education and access to books and technology.

World Read Aloud Day is about taking action to show the world that the right to read and write belongs to all people. - See more at: http://litworld.org/worldreadaloudday#sthash.6Fuggri9.dpuWorld Read
