April is National Poetry Month



 I enjoy poetry and especially love sharing it with children. Reading poetry aloud with children helps them learn to play with words.  Poetry helps build phonemic awareness and can be used to introduce new vocabulary words and concepts in a fun way.


Don't Forget:Thursday April 24th is 
                                                 Ask a child to read a poem to you!
